SISMUN is a permanent society, not a single weekend. There are five ways to belong to it.

  • 01

    Delegate

    Represent nations in committee, train with the society and compete at SISMUN and external conferences.

  • 02

    Secretariat

    Direct committees, chair debate and hold responsibility for the academic standard of a SISMUN conference.

  • 03

    Research

    Prepare study guides, agendas and background research that give each committee its substance.

  • 04

    Media

    Photography, design, film and written coverage — the record of what happens in the room.

  • 05

    Logistics

    Operations, delegate affairs and the coordination that makes a conference run to the minute.

02How to apply
  1. 01Write to the societyEmail sismun@scarsdale.edu.pk with your name, year group and the track that interests you.
  2. 02Interview or trial sessionApplicants attend a short interview or a trial committee, depending on the track.
  3. 03Begin trainingAccepted members enter the SISMUN Academy and are considered for conference roles.
